Trium is a small winery located in Southern Oregon with its roots started by the Lotspeich family who have a dedication to quality and encompass farming in a responsible way with the lightest touch on the earth When they planted their first grapes in 1990 they set out to produce the very best wine from site appropriate varieties. Each season brings new challenges and opportunities to create something special. Their dedication to quality encompasses the selection of the finest grapes available in the Rogue Valley.
Trium comes from Latin for “of three” and was founded by 3 couples with a vision of fine wine farmed with wisdom and care, in collaboration with well-trained winemakers, to best express the potential of Southern Oregon. They each contributed grapes and hard work to establishing Trium. As the last “of three”, Laura Lotspeich felt the need to reduce her commitment in the wine industry and refocus her life. In the fall of 2017, she passed on the torch to Anthony Corallo, the new owner. Trium’s blend “of three” varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc comprise our Growers’ Cuvée. This continues to be their flagship and signature wine.
Blending creates a beautiful complexity and enhances a subtle spectrum of flavors. Trium's flagship wine has a pleasant mouth feel and a finish that lingers.
